Proverbs warns us about those who tear down others, so be wise, avoid a bad outcome, and stay away from therm.

Intentionally avoid the darkness that causes pain and agony by turning on the Light that never dims.

Once you have met the Savior of the world, and surrendered your life to Him, you’ll want everyone to know . . . so don’t keep it in!

What about you? Are you taking the easy way out? Or are you working together with the body to accomplish the task set before you?

If you’re feeling out of fellowship with God, you’re the one who created the distance, not Him.

Every day, we are faced with tempting situations and moments that threaten to lure us away from God and to sin. We could stop listening to the Holy Spirit, just ignore Him leading us in the other direction. We could easily get distracted by the lust of the eyes and what is being offered or laid out before us. And we could do what we wanted to do… but will it glorify our Lord?

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child, so listen to that still small voice guiding you to him.

Are you willing to obey God no matter the cost? What is the cost if you don’t do what He has commanded?

Because the Bible is living, breathing, and active, reading it should be exciting, emotional, and life-changing.

Instead of adding more things to your plate, consider what you’ve already said yes to. Are you fulfilling your commitment?

Every man called by God didn’t feel like a “somebody”—a mighty warrior, the father of many nations, or even a king. But God defined His creation and chiseled their character to become what He had seen in them all along…and He does the same thing for us today.

Each day, as the people would ready their sacrifices, they spent time preparing them just right. As they prepared their gifts, they were also getting their hearts ready to worship the Lord.

Knowing what is right and wise is all about the choices we make and the people we consider to be our friends.

The Christian worldview has been completely rejected by many people, but God is still on his throne and we still have a command to share Truth.

When worst fears become reality, the Bible is your weapon against spiraling down to the darkest of places.

How about you? Who is leading your decisions? Where do you turn when you are in need of advice and help? Who is your mentor?

Everybody says it’s not healthy to live in the past, but what does that really mean, especially when you’re haunted by it.

But here on this earth, there is a battle raging. A war for the souls of our friends, children and loved ones. A battle with sin. Why are we still here? Because we have a job to do. God chooses to use us to share the gospel with the nations. We are to tell the story of Jesus!

Our sin has earned us death. BUT – We can have victory over sin by accepting the gift of salvation that Jesus Christ offers us!

It’s easy to mask feelings of loneliness when you have a smile on your face, but it can be a precious time of listening to the Father.

We should be the example for others! We should lead them to the Lord, not away. It should be God’s words on our lips.

So, anytime you are faced with a giant of a problem or any emotion that comes your way, step up to the fight. You never know what God can do in, around, or through you when you are willing to trust Him.

If you’ve asked for a hedge of protection, stop pulling out the tree trimmers, lawn mower and hedger to cut it down. God’s timing and purpose for you is perfect. Don’t try to push things just because you want them right now.

If it feels like your very existence is meaningless, turn away from those desperate thoughts and choose life, joy, and peace from the only one who can give it: Jesus.

A small move in his direction could mean a big change in the trajectory of your life.

If it were about works, I could boast, I could brag that I had something to do with my salvation. But it’s not. It’s only the work of Jesus Christ.

Many Bible heroes did not understand at first that their own personal comfort meant disobedience to God.

Lord, wash me. I am unclean. I am unworthy. Only you can wash away the sins of my heart. Only you can take what is defiled and make it pure.

Letting go of what binds you, causes unforgiveness, and keeps you from glorifying God is the stumbling block to true joy.

What has God blessed you with? And what have you given to Him in return?

Are you bearing much fruit these days? Or do you feel dormant? What needs to change? If you’re following after the Lord, you will be fruitful!

Redemption cleanses us. Redemption turns our mistakes into ministries. Redemption allows us to lift our heads up and not live ashamed. Redemption gives us hope.

Those that disobey God and disregard His authority and righteousness, which includes who He appoints as leaders, will face punishment. Look at the severity of this rebellion!

Having wisdom requires devoting yourself to general principles that will give you insight to life situations.

When you’re a fixer and a planner, it’s hard to wait on the Lord for his plan, even when you know it’s the best thing to do.

Because we know better. We have a duty to study the word of God, as it was intended, and to teach accordingly.

Patience is a universally difficult thing to do, but if God is in the boat with you, just relax and wait for his timing.

What does our reputation say about God? Don’t we realize that many people will never open a bible and study it for themselves? Our lives will be the only picture of Jesus they see! So, what will they say?

Unfortunately, the world has shouted down Christians and Jesus, who came to earth to radically change it and start a movement of love and grace.

If you’ve already made that decision to go back to the old, the most beautiful thing is that it’s never too late to turn around. It takes one step. And there’s Jesus. Waiting. Ready to forgive. Ready to give you everything He promised if you would just trust and follow Him.

In a culture of who you know instead of whose you are, Christian leaders must have a God-given vision.

Without Jesus, there is no joy. No conquering your fears, only tears. Trust in the Lord today!

We are focusing on cleaning up, or purifying, the words that come out of our mouths. Our goal is to try to get those words to reflect our faith.

Did you know you can believe God exists and still go to Hell? If you have never trusted that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He came and died for you, covering your sin debt, if you’ve never done that, you’ll spend eternity in torment!

With a significant downward spiral going on in church attendance, maybe we should go back to the basics and hear from a passionate church planter.

Christians have a purpose and God has a plan: Go and disciple others.

Let’s be done with temporary structures and build God’s kingdom one lost soul at a time.

Whatever you are going through today, God wants you to know that you do not have to do it alone. You don’t have to be the one who picks yourself up by your bootstraps and pushes through. Let God carry you!

If the things of this world are holding you back from living out your fullest potential, let go of them and let God transform you.
