God isn’t keeping something good from you by saying no. He promises to deliver something even better.

Today might be a good day to stop and examine our lives. We may claim to know Christ, but is there fruit in our lives, evidence of His redemptive work?

Don’t give God your leftovers. Allow him to be The Feast you indulge in and come away eternally filled by His Spirit to the fullest!

God created the church as a place to worship and serve Him. It’s a place to learn, become a family, and minister to those in need.

Will you be ready for His return? He is patiently waiting for you to surrender your heart to Him.

Hearts that are quick to thank and praise God get God’s attention in a big, miraculous way!

This morning, stop, and talk with Him. Tell Him of the burdens you carry and what you desperately want. And then trust in Him to deliver.

The love God calls us to is different than the world’s love.

Everyone can use a fresh start.

Lord, less of me and more of you.

The hope we have in Jesus Christ is something that many don’t understand.

Jesus was known for His humble nature and loving manner, not a hurried and chaotic busyness.

None of us deserve what God has done for us. We ALL deserve His wrath.

Today, let us be looking for ways to put others first. How can we serve one another? How can I be more like Jesus?

Thankful and obedient hearts get God’s attention and His blessing!

Nothing is too big for our God.

And this is God’s will…

Because we’ve been forgiven, we can forgive.

What legacy will you leave?

Lay it down. Everything you are trying to prove, whatever you are trying to earn, lay it down. Come to the foot of the cross.

Be aware that your approach is perhaps more important than your information. Don’t be out of step, out of control, or out of line when you attempt to love and respond to others.

How often does God pull us from the darkness, revealing His beautiful plan and light to us, and yet we find ourselves back there again? How quickly we forget.

Living a life of integrity and honesty is only possible with the Belt of Truth wrapped around us.

Make that commitment today. The commitment to follow what the Lord had originally intended for marriage, before our sin polluted it.

So what do we do? If we have been forgiven so great a debt, one that we cannot repay, time and time again, what should we do when someone wrongs us? Forgive.

The real hero of this story is not Jonah, but God. He used an imperfect man to save an imperfect nation who lived imperfect lives to point them to a perfect God.

The Lord knows we are better together. United, we will stand; divided, we will fall.

Lord, help us love like You love.

Don’t Miss the Message!

The Father’s voice, even in conviction, is full of love.

As brothers and sisters in Christ, we must lay aside our flesh and follow the Lord’s lead.

Jesus came to save the lost. And He’s still in the business of doing just that. It’s His main priority! Is it yours?

Anticipate “in your face” battles, not merely “let’s pretend” childish scrimmages. Be ready. From pretend pirates to skilled swordsmen, let’s suit up and execute His battle plans while holding fast to the victorious finish He has already secured.

What needs to be removed in your life to keep your eyes fixed on Christ? What tempts you? What leads you to sin?

What are we teaching our children? Where are we pointing them?

Jonah’s powerful prayer reflects that he is now ready to do God’s will…even when it still probably doesn’t make sense to him. He gets what we all want in life: a redo.

Far too often, I pick up the burdens I’ve promised to give over to the Lord because I think I can do this. I can fix this. I can make it better. But all of my efforts are poor attempts compared to His righteous and perfect plan.

What does loving others look like?

May we obey when God calls.

Have we settled for something less than what Jesus intended for His church?

Don’t just do it for me. Teach me so I can do it, too. And then, let me be able to teach someone else. Isn’t that what discipleship is?

Jesus knew that the resurrection would come. He knew what it would be like to be reunited with the Father in Heaven. He wasn’t focused on the pain ahead, but the joy that was coming.

Learn the lessons that separation can bring, but run when you spot home. Your Father always leaves the light on.

Fall to His feet and trust in Him. This is where true faith is built.

Put down the phone. Close your laptop. Be present in the life you have been given. Take joy today in the time the Lord has blessed you with!

God desires our obedience. He wants a heart that loves him so much, it is willing to trust and obey Him…even when it’s hard.

My impatient and anxious heart can get the best of me, how about you? Lord, we know You have great things in store for us. Help us to learn to trust You, Lord!

When Jesus told us to love others…

When we are afraid, we can turn our eyes to our Savior.

We must show others the same compassion Jesus has shown us.
