Holiness is still a thing that we aspire for, friends. And while we will always fall short, we can grow more sanctified in the process.

In many of these prophet readings, God does something I love: He doesn’t waste an opportunity to remind His people that He can do anything!

I am thankful for daily reminders from the prophets that we have a God who chases us down when we stray so that we may experience His love and mercy.

That prayer you have been praying…be persistent. In God’s timing, He will move. Until then, walk by faith.

Trusting God’s plan is seldom easy, but when we choose to obey, there is much peace and grace along the way.

Nothing is wasted in our lives, friends. He uses it all for His glory.

If God’s Word can speak the world into creation, it can evoke a spiritual revival!

Oh friends, when we struggle knowing ourselves, our purpose, what’s going on in our lives, may we rely upon who God is and His promises.

Trusting God gives us beautiful gifts: a firm faith and peace.

Are you being persistent in your prayer? Time to go before the Lord and knock. He’s available to us always.

We can honor God with our lips declaring Him as Holy, Creator, and Savior, but we honor Him more as we surrender and call Him Lord.

May we live in the fear of the Lord. May God continue to show us that our idols on earth are worthless and only He is worthy of our hearts.

Our God chases us down in the storms of life, pursuing us. He never gives up on us. He’ll use every element of nature and every life situation to point back to Him.

God saved His child, who cried out to Him.

Good things happen when we trust and follow God with our whole hearts!

God is the ultimate Promise Keeper.

It doesn’t matter what your friends say, your family’s belief system or what the world says. It only matters what you say about Jesus.

God is the giver of wisdom.

Is it a fight to follow God? You bet. But, as we see with Elijah, it’s worth the fight. It’s when God shows up and does the impossible.

Trusting God is surrendering to your heart to Him, relying upon His direction for our lives and path for our lives, and obeying Him

Be strong and courageous and do the work! God is with you and will not abandon you.

Spend time studying your play book (the Bible), seeking instruction (prayer), and exhibiting sportsmanship (service) that is easier to spot than your eye black.

Let’s take this journey together of becoming courageously confident women who rise up in the strength of our Almighty God, ready to face whatever battle He calls us to face.

Our mistakes don’t have to define us—they are there to refine us.

We will experience difficulty as we follow the Lord, but He will provide just what we need.

Sometimes, our worst mistake can become our best mistake when we allow God to change us through it.

King Asa’s story shows us that when we have a heart to get to know God, we will find Him!

God chooses us to be His people. And, though we can wander away from Him, He still chooses to show us His faithful love.

To commune with God in the stillness of the morning renews our weak, broken and feeble spirit.

Fixing our eyes upon Jesus can make all the difference, friends. He is bigger than any of our strong emotions, our uncertain circumstances, and our enemies… He can do the impossible in our lives!

I want to be His biggest fan. I want to share His name with others so that they may believe, too. I want to, do you?

Whatever God is calling you to do, do it. Don’t wait. Obey the Lord and you won’t be sorry.

David doesn’t turn away from God in these times of silence…if anything, he turns to God more.

David reminds us all that God is faithful and He will fight for us.

Living salty or being the salt points people to the only thirst quencher they will ever need: Jesus.

God is faithful, especially amid great loss and messy circumstances.

When life gets comfortable, we forget. If we’re not intentional about following God, we become unintentional and can get spiritually lazy.

What do we do when we’ve lost our delight in God’s Word?

Find a place, remove the distractions and get alone with God.

Our timetable may not be God’s timetable, but make no mistake, He is the Promise Keeper!

We can’t love what we don’t know…that is what this Bible plan is teaching us: knowing God. Knowing His qualities and character. This knowledge leads to a deeper relationship, one built on love and faith.

As you read through the Bible and study with us, do you believe what you are reading? And do you feel compelled to share it with someone else so that they too might have the hope that is within you?

When it’s hard to see the goodness of God in your life, trust the character we see of Him in the Bible.

No matter how much you have messed up, doubted God, or disobeyed God, He is there—still guiding, still teaching. There is grace and mercy there!

When we look at the world, we lower our bar. But, when we read God’s Word, He raises it.

When was the last time we asked God to see His glory? This moment with Moses reminds me that maybe my prayers are too small.

Like Moses’ journey, God doesn’t promise us it will be easy. But, I have found the best things in life are often the things we work hardest at.

Jesus came to bear all the sins of all the people who ever lived on earth. He did this for you, for me, for all of us so that we could receive a relationship with God and experience His forgiveness and His transforming love.

When things seem like they are falling apart, don’t mistrust God’s heart.

Life can be messy and hard, and it can be a struggle to see God in it all. But, stories like this remind us that God is a God of mercy and grace.
