We follow voices. We think we don’t. We think we are “open minded.”
But ultimately-
WE ARE FOLLOWERS.
We find comfort in the “herd.” And every herd has a shepherd. Every party a leader. We pick a side. We fall in line. And then we realize….
No matter how good the cause – The leader(s) fail us. We are but sheep. Too often, the sheep become props in the shepherds game.
NOT SO WITH JESUS – He is the GOOD SHEPHERD
• He never bends his principles.
• He never abandons his sheep.
• His sheep ARE the cause.
• He sacrificed all for his sheep.
• He knows them one by one.
• He Listens, Loves, Cares and Protects them.
His herd are not a prop – they are not a means to the end.
HIS SHEEP ARE HIS PRIZE!
