GRAVITY WINS
Gravity is the force that pulls two objects together.
Gravity represents those strong forces in life that pull us in a certain direction. The expectation and desire for acceptance, recognition, purpose, and success draw us in.
Their pull is strong. Their voices are loud.
THE RAT RACE
We call this the “rat race.”
We buy into the world’s definition of success, are convinced it will fulfill us, and pursue it with all our vigor. Its promises have a stronghold on us.
But here is the bad news: even if you win, you are still a rat.
ANOTHER WAY
The only way to overcome gravitational pull is to find a stronger opposing force. Jesus is that source. His Holy Spirit is that convicting, opposing force.
* That feeling that there must be something more.
* That conviction that we are headed in the wrong direction.
* The realization that success is fleeting and happiness is a moving target.
He is awakening your soul, opening your eyes, unplugging your ears.
He wants to pull you in a new direction—to break the power this life holds on you.
It’s a choice.
Whose voice will you listen to?
