What Gifts will You be Giving?
9293 Views

“Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” – Colossians 3:23 (NLT)

What if I told you I’d like to help with your shopping this year? I could promise the gifts would fit, be affordable, cherished, and not returned. Would you be interested?

The Gift of Time: When was the last time you put away all of your devices and gave someone your undivided attention? Being an encourager, a great listener, and allowing them to be heard uninterrupted might just do more for their heart than pumpkin pie for their tummy!

The Gift of Humility: What about putting others first routinely? Greatness is humility that doesn’t need to be noticed. So, in a world of selfies, posts, and “likes” wouldn’t it be refreshing to resemble your Heavenly Father with an avalanche of grace?

The Gift of Dreams: Consider, through laughter and making memories together, committing to a lifetime of togetherness, warts and all. What spouse, child, parent, or friend wouldn’t treasure your gift to come alongside them and disciple and grow together for a lifetime? Security is fertile soil for growth physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Let’s intentionally choose gifts from the Savior’s circular this year for a guarantee of never having to wait in lengthy return lines! These timeless gifts point back to The Star that Wise Men and Women still seek today.
