Alone. Ashamed. Scared. Desperate. Empty. Dark. Hopeless. Unloved. Unwanted. Rejected.
These are all emotions that pierce the heart of someone who decides to commit suicide.
I’ll never understand it, but it doesn’t make what that person feels any less real. I just want to stop this evening and say, if you are feeling these things and you think there is no way out of a situation, there is. You may not be able to see it, but there is help.
Taking your life is not the answer.

This is a place where you can talk with someone. Just make that one phone call.
Let me tell you about a man named Judas. He betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Whatever his intention was- either for personal gain or maybe to stir up a revolution against the Romans, he did it.
And he regretted it.
“Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.” (Matthew 27: 3-5)
He felt alone, unwanted, unloved, and hopeless. He didn’t think there was any way he could live with the shame that he carried now.
So, he took his life.
But IF he had realized who Jesus was and had chosen to live, he would have seen what HOPE was all about. Jesus took all those emotions on himself, all of the sins of the world, and He became victorious over them. No longer do we have to hang our head in shame and think there is no way out.
There is a WAY.
HIS NAME IS JESUS!
Do you know Him? Not just His name, but do you Know Him?
Jesus is the Son of God. He came to earth to show the love of the Father, reveal life-giving truths, and save the lost. He was crucified for our sins because He was the only sinless One. He died for us. He was buried for 3 days. And then, just as He said He would, He rose from the dead, defeating death and Hell and sin! And one day He’s coming again.
He did all of that so that you can be free from your sins, free from your worries and pain. But you must reach out and trust Him. It’s just one call to make – call out to Jesus.
Jesus loves YOU.
He desires a relationship with you! This is a daily walk with Him.
Without Jesus, there is no Hope.
Turn to Him today. He knows what you’re going through. He knows what you’ve done and He still loves you. He gave His life for you knowing that you were a sinner.
But by His grace we are forgiven and freed.
Trust in Him today and walk with Him for eternity.
