Two years ago, I captured these images during the total solar eclipse.
The moment of totality was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It was breathtaking, humbling, and for me, deeply spiritual. I am incredibly grateful that God allowed me the opportunity to witness a total eclipse once again.
How incredible is our God! He ordained the precise movements of the sun, moon, and stars so perfectly that, at just the right moment, they aligned over the skies of Arkansas. The Creator established order in His universe from the very beginning, and every eclipse is another reminder of His wisdom, power, and faithfulness.
David wrote,
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” — Psalm 19:1
Every time I look through a camera lens at the night sky, I’m reminded that creation wasn’t an accident. It is a masterpiece that continually points us to its Creator.
The next total solar eclipse to cross Arkansas is scheduled for August 12, 2045. Lord willing, I’ll be there again.
I wonder…
Will I still be just as amazed by the Creator as I was on that unforgettable day?
