What Will You Do with Jesus?

“He is a good man.” Others said, “No, on the contrary, He is leading the people astray.”
John 7:12

The crowd answered, “You have a demon!”
John 7:20

Some said, “This really is the Prophet.” Others said, “This is the Christ.”
John 7:40–41

  • A good man.
  • A deceiver.
  • Demon-possessed.
  • The Prophet.
  • The Christ.

Jesus evoked many different responses.

  • His life was divisive.
  • His ways were radical.
  • His teaching was offensive.

Jesus never left people neutral.

With Him, there is no middle ground.

Indifference is not an option.

Either Jesus is who He claimed to be—the Son of God, the promised Messiah—or He is the greatest deceiver the world has ever known.

Every person must answer the same question the crowds wrestled with two thousand years ago:

Who is Jesus?

Think what you will, but don’t refuse to consider Him. According to Jesus Himself, believing or rejecting Him is a matter of life and death.
