Divine Lenses

Silver alert – I’m reaching for my glasses more these days. I know it can’t be a result of my age, so it must be smaller print or lighting, or something! Perhaps it’s a reminder to reach for my heavenly lenses…those that illuminate with son-shine! Can we be transparent? Do we choose the microscope for others and the telescope for ourselves? Do we choose to “see” our own life journeys faithfully unfolding or do we come against any personal Red Sea encounters? Do we look for detours of comfort and convenience, or simply seek to follow the next step of obedience to the Father?

I hope I’m not the only one failing my (eye/I) test! You see, the annual exam simply isn’t enough. The prescription for spiritual vision correction is truly changing the lenses and wearing them daily.

Note to self – Reach for the divine lenses! God is ready and more than able to illuminate your next steps beyond 20/20 to a heavenly perspective!

Prayer – Lord, please give me a desire to change my perspective by choosing the heavenly lenses. Your prescription is perfect to illuminate my faith journey ahead.
