Nothing is Impossible

Great Scott!

It’s something man has been trying to achieve but has never been able to accomplish: time travel.

Sure, Doc Brown figured out the right speed, fuel, and proper calculations with the flux capacitor to soar Marty McFly back to the future. It makes for a great movie/trilogy, but never in real life has man been able to attain success in this area.

It is impossible.

We could come up with a pretty good list of things that man simply cannot do no matter how hard he tries or how smart he thinks he is. But the bottom line is, man is limited.

And there is only one who is limitless.

“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:24-26)

The disciples were astonished. In their time, people who had money seemed limitless. They controlled everything and could do just about anything they wanted. So, their question was, if they weren’t getting in to Heaven, who could?

Jesus pointed out to them that there are some things that are impossible for man to achieve or accomplish, but not with God.

God is all-powerful. He simply speaks and things come into existence. He is the creator of all! The very breath in our lungs is from Him!

Have you ever stepped back and really looked at the tiny details and think, how is this possible? Who could have created a living, breathing, thinking, speaking human from nothing? Who can make the sun to rise and set? Who can cause the winds cease? Who can create such intricate detail in a snowflake to where no two are the same? Who can create life out of death as fruit begins to grow after the blossom has died? And who could take away my sins?

Only God.

With God, nothing is impossible.

Does He not deserve praise from our lips and our lives? And not just ours, but our family? Our neighbors? Our community? Our city? State? Nation? World? Is He not worthy?

The gospel is worthy to be shared because He is worthy to be praised by 7.8 billion tongues!

Nothing is too big for our God.

Do you truly believe that?

Trust in Him today to do the impossible!
