Do you know this man, the very Son of the Living God? Do you know Jesus Christ? Not just a knowledge of Him, but an intimate relationship, a surrender of your will to Him?

So, when you think life is too much and your jar is being cracked, don’t give up! Perhaps God allowed this trial, this circumstance, this moment not only for you—but for others watching you go through it. Our lives are living testimonies of Jesus Christ.

Today, let’s turn from the things of this world and turn to our Creator. The One who offers true peace, freedom and love.

Let His light shine through you and the colors of His love dance for all to see!

When we have the light of Christ within us, we become a light for others to find their way. Are you shining for Him? Will others see Jesus because of the light that you shine?

Jesus. The sweetest name I know.

Tell your story. Tell how Jesus changed you. Tell of His love.

If you’ve witnessed Jesus’ miracles in your own life, YOU have a story to tell. Somebody needs to know about Him! Will you share it?

What did it take for you to believe and become His witness?

Church can’t save. Serving in church can’t save. Tithing can’t save. Only believing Jesus as your Savior can save.

Does our faith result in obedience?

Whatever you’re going through or waiting for, I promise you, God is at work! He doesn’t waste time. The Lord almighty is in control and time is in His hands. Trust Him.

We have something the Lord wants to use, but will we surrender our grasp on it? Will we offer it to the Lord and accept His offer to be used to accomplish His great plan?

Are we still begging to be close to Him, found on our knees in prayer? Or are we now at a distance, watching to see what unfolds next?

Jesus is the Prince of Peace. With Him we have nothing to fear. Without Him, we have no hope.

A lot of life is made up of waiting. Let’s learn to wait well.

I am a nobody. Nothing special. Just an ordinary person. Guilty of crimes. And Jesus gave His life for me.

Lord, forgive us. Your grace is enough.

It may be that God wants you to be satisfied with Him, the giver of great blessings, before getting the blessing. It may be that He is getting you ready to experience Him in a whole new way. A fiery sort of way.

Like Jesus did often, take time to get away and pray. Seek the Lord’s wisdom and ask for discernment in this situation. Study His Word and live it out. You know who wins in the end.

What “cup” has the Lord given you?

Like the pressure of the earth creating diamonds out of carbon deposits, God is creating something beautiful out of you. It doesn’t make the trial or the storm any easier. But knowing God is at work is comforting in the midst.

Today, let’s allow the Lord to shine His truth into our lives, searching our intent and refocus on what’s really important.

Like my avocado aversion, we can live our whole lives seeing God from a distance, never truly experiencing Him. We can miss out on incredible moments of God because we’re too afraid of letting go of our life preservers and getting out of our safety boats.

Have you met Jesus? How did that change you? Have you professed that to the world? We all have a story to share, will you tell yours?

Jesus is our guide on the uncertain path of life.

Turn to Him in your despair, anger, hurt, and frustration. Allow Him to work all things out for you.

When we look at our daily routine, do we have a time set aside for getting alone with God?

When we find ourselves in that position, in the middle of never-where, we have a choice. We can follow the example of Judas or we can follow the example of Peter.

Fearing God isn’t being afraid of Him – it’s being scared of living life without Him.

To be a leader one must have a servant’s heart.

We can run with endurance because God supplies what we need along the way.

Today, let’s remember what God has called us to do and do it. Don’t get focused on the wrong things, the things that won’t really matter in eternity.

Why do we put off doing what we want to do?

Jesus has invited all of us to the table. Will you come?

Jesus. He alone deserves our worship and praise.

If God has saved you, you have been brought into His marvelous light, as the scripture says. You have been changed! And it’s time to celebrate!

In Jesus we have a fresh start.

Don’t let this New Year begin without a renewed commitment to Him…His way, His time, His glory.

The Bible tells us to examine ourselves. Ask the tough questions about your salvation. Test yourself to see if you are truly saved.

Jesus beckons. He calls us to join Him. To sit at His feet. To seek His face. To feel His presence.

God’s Word is worthy, withstands the pressure of change, and it’s an eternal commitment. If God says it, I believe it.

Jesus works in our bad days, sometimes even more than on our good days.

Jesus never promised the road would be easy as His follower. In fact, time and time again, He pointed out how hard it would be. But the rewards far outweigh the risk.

If you want to build a life worth living, Jesus must be the beginning. He must be the cornerstone.

Our motive for following Jesus matters.

It’s time to let Jesus do what needs to be done in our lives. Restore. Refresh. Renew.

If you’ve been saved by Jesus, if you’ve put your faith and trust in Him, you are His servant. It’s time to get to work. It’s time to build the kingdom of God!

May we also decide in our hearts to keep studying God’s Word, following Him in obedience!
