Because if Moses was a great public speaker and seemed worthy of the job than Moses would be the one to get the glory for what God was about to do. So instead God chose someone who wasn’t qualified, but was obedient and he equipped Moses by his power for the job.

This doesn’t mean that Gods going to give us whatever we want. But what this does mean is that when we delight in the Lord and we commit our ways to him then our heart is going to align with his. When we put God first in our lives, he’s going to take care of all our needs, that’s a promise that he’s made to us and when we put God first in our lives and are trusting him than he will give us the desires of our hearts because our heart doesn’t look like the rest of the worlds anymore, it looks like his. This doesn’t mean that we can name it and claim it, but it is full of encouragement because we can delight in the Lord and trust that he’s got all of it taken care of!

How to pray when we don’t have the words.
Sometimes we’re in a situation where we know our hurt, but we don’t even know what to ask for, so we cry out and the Holy spirit intercedes for us. It says here that he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for Gods people in accordance with the will of God. So if you don’t have to the words today, and you don’t even know what to pray for, close your eyes and know that you don’t even have to have the words. The Holy Spirit will speak for you. Just be still.

Anything that hurts to let go of, hurts because we’re holding on to tight. When we accept Jesus into our hearts, we are now not citizens of this world anymore, we’ve been rescued from it. So what do we do now with our freedom? We live for him and loosen our grip on everything. When Jesus was on the cross he loved so boldly, that the offer of forgiveness even extended to the people who where crucifying him, love is an action.. And the choice that God made when he sent his son to pay the price for our sin, was him choosing to love us unconditionally. But will you choose love today? His name is Jesus.

Out of all of the commandments, the most important one is to love the Lord your God with everything, with all of you! And the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. So How do we show love to God? We obey him and we live for him. We spend time with him, and we praise him with our lives, we strengthen our relationship with him and we put him first above all else. But love is an action not a feeling. Love takes work, and we are commanded to put in the time and the work to Love the lord and love others above everything else.
