Scripture

Luke 14:26-27
If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

Jesus tells us that the greatest commandment is to love God above everything else. And then what’s the second? To love others as yourself. So when we Jesus is first and were follow him then we can love the way we are supposed to love. In perfect order when Jesus is at the front of our lives.
