1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬ ‭
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

We can lay all of our pain, our hurts our wounds down at the foot of the cross and we can leave them there. He placed our sins, on himself so that we could die to our sins and our old lives, and step into our new purpose, to live for him.
