1 Corinthians 13:1-3

"If I could speak all the languages of the earth and even the languages of angels, yet lacked love for others, I would be no more than a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I possessed the gift of prophecy, understood all of God's mysteries, and had knowledge of every kind, and if my faith could move mountains, but I did not have love for others, I would be nothing. Even if I gave away all that I have to the poor and sacrificed my own body, I could boast about it, but without love, it would profit me nothing."
